I decided a few months ago to join weight watchers and I let life get in the way and lost control again.  I let it go and didn’t bother to update it for a few months.  I decided about three weeks ago that enough was enough and I started tracking everything I was eating again.  I started to feel better, but I needed to take another step toward reaching my weight loss goals.  I needed more exercise.  I planned on going to the gym at school in the mornings, but I had made that promise to myself before and it never happened.  Once I get to school, I’m in absolutely no mood to go work out, get sweaty, shower there, and proceed to go to class.  I’d rather just show up ready to go.  I took an alternate route and signed up for a gym membership closer to home and I got my mom to do it with me.  This was the best decision and investment I have made this year thus far.  Well, aside from my romantic choice of course.

Since I started this battle over again, I have lost a total of 11 pounds.  That’s a lot of weight and I’m thrilled.  Feeling my clothes fit looser and my boobs not be as massive is a wonderful feeling.  It feels nice to throw my arm over my stomach and feel it going down a little bit each day.  I’m actually meeting my goals for the first time in a year.  Let’s just hope I keep this up.

Upon receiving the play chest, I noted that it only came packaged in a plastic bag inside of the packing box which worried me a bit because of the potential of damaged packages en route to the post office.  Once I removed the chest from the box and the plastic wrapping, the smell of the vinyl was a bit overwhelming though the smell dissipated after I allowed it to air out.  After the bout with the rather overwhelming smell that assaulted my nostrils, I played with the chest a bit to figure out the mechanics.  The chest is lockable in order to keep others out of your personal belongings and comes with a key that is hidden in a small black vinyl pouch that is attached to the chest by a thin metal chain.  The lock, however, is a bit disappointing and doesn’t work all that well, at least on my chest, so to ensure that no one invades your privacy keep the chest out of sight if at all possible. 

On the outside of the chest are four hinges, two on each side, that serve to open the lid of the chest.  In order to open the chest, there is a button on the black flap at the top of the chest that needs to be depressed in order for it to slip through the catch.  Once the button has passed through the catch, slide the black strip toward the back of the chest and proceed to open the lid with the handles.

Inside of the chest is a firm black divider to keep your toys separated and avoid material conflicts while in storage.  The sections on each side of the divider are deep.  When I say deep, I mean really deep.  Let’s put it into perspective.  I own a little over 60 toys at the moment.  About 95% of my collection fits on either side of the dividers, though some of the bulkier items, such as glass that are stored in protective pouches, are not able to fit inside this chest.  There are three mesh pouches on the inside as well that are perfect for storing bullets and vibrators that are about 6″-7″ in length.  On a personal note, I am able to store both my Lelo Liv and Lelo Gigi in one of the mesh pouches on the inside of the lid.

Once you’ve gotten into your devine chest and filled it with wonderful treasures, simply close the lids and slide the black strip back through the handles and latch the button to make sure that it is closed completely.  Use the key to lock the case and you’re good to go.  If you intend to travel, this case would serve as a great carry on, though be careful of checking it or letting it out of your hands as the lock isn’t very reliable and the case could open if you’re not careful.

Aveline also has features to her that make her stand out from other dildos on the market.  The flower that is painted along the shaft is not crafted into the ceramic.  The paint job is a bit raised, which can be felt if you run your finger along the shaft.  The only concern with the paint job is that while using this product, you must be careful not to get too rough with it or you risk ruining the paint or chipping it.  This dildo is intended for more gentle, sensual play as opposed to rough, hard play. 

Aveline is a bit longer than most traditional dildos at a length of 9 inches total.  There is about 8 inches total insertable length, but I caution those who intend to use this product to be careful not to push it too far in.  There is a small rounded nub at the base of the dildo that is intended to help keep a grip on Aveline while in use.  There is also a blue silicone pad at the base that is inserted into the ceramic itself to work as a gripper during use.  The shaft itself is, according to the booklet that is included with the Aveline, is 33mm which isn’t very large.  If you are a beginner with dildos or are exploring ceramic for the first time, this one should provide the comfort and ease you seek to enjoy this beautiful pleasure object.  Be warned, though, that because there is no flared base Aveline cannot be used for anal else you run the risk of it getting lost in your bum.

Once you have finished using Aveline, simply wash with warm water and soap as ceramic is non porous and you do not run the risk of juices being locked into the material after use.  If you decide to use a lubricant, use water based as other types may react badly to the beautiful paint job on the shaft and you do not want to run the risk of ruining it.  To store, simply place Aveline in the black velveteen bag that is provided in the packaging and slip her in the drawer next to your bed.  Be careful of storing with other toys or where your bag could get stepped on as ceramic is a delicate material and can break easily.  Also, be careful when doing temperature play.  Aveline is cold to the touch and can be put in the freezer to chill even more.  Do NOT remove from freezing to extremely hot, or vice versa, immediately as the sudden change in temperature can cause the ceramic to shatter.

The Hummingbird Blossom is a simple vibrator, running off of one AA battery.  There aren’t a whole lot of bells and whistles to this beautiful little vibrator, but it has the potential to get the job done for those new to vibrators.  The only reason why I feel it didn’t work for me is because I am rather desensitized to soft vibrations and they tend to tease me more than please me.  To get started and ready to use the Blossom, unscrew the cap at the base of the vibrator and slide the battery in, positive side down, before replacing the cap.  To activate the vibrations, simply turn the dial and the vibrations will activate.  I will say, though, that controlling the vibrations is a little hard to handle.  What I mean by that is that if you turn the dial too far to one end, the vibrations soften or stop completely.  If you turn the dial and stop in the middle, the vibrations are the strongest, though it is rather hard to keep the dial in that one position during use.

Remember how I said it is rather tiny?  If you take a gander at the picture to the right, that is the toy in my hand.  I’ve got rather small hands, so for it to fit in the palm of it is saying something.  Though, the petite design of the vibrator makes it great to hide and travel with if you do not want others to see what you have stored in your bag.

The shaft of the Hummingbird Blossom is designed like a flower with a hummingbird resting upon the stem to act as a clitoral stimulator.  The shaft of the vibrator that runs from the base of the hummingbird to the flowered head is bumpy, reminiscent of thorns on a rose.  The bumpy texture adds a bit of pleasure while inserted in the vagina, though they aren’t firm enough to truly make a difference in the pleasure provided by the vibrations.  The head of the toy is shaped like a flower that has not bloomed yet, but is nearing the stage of blossoming.

The vibrations, I found, tend to be rather weak and felt more in the hummingbird than the shaft or the flowered head.  In all honesty, the vibrations barely reach the flowered head as they tend to all lead to the hummingbird.  If used as pure clitoral stimulation with the flower inserted, this little bird has the potential to rock your world.  Otherwise, if you’re looking for a rabbit style vibrator that has vibrations equally distributed, this is not the vibrator for you.

The Silky G is made from hard silicone which leaves it able to be sterilized should you decide to share this with other partners.  This vibrator is designed the penetrate the vagina and reach that often hard to find g-spot.  The head of the vibrator is curved in order for it to reach the g-spot and massage it upon insertion, though be warned that the curved head is a bit intimidating.  The vibrator is extremely firm, which leaves no room for it to move with your body or contour to your inner walls.  The head of the vibrator is pointed and can cause pain if you suffer from pelvic issues and toys getting caught on it during play.  Because of the curved head, I would not recommend this for anal play as it could cause extreme discomfort during use. 

The head of the vibrator also has two round sections that are designed to tantalize and pleasure the walls of the vagina surrounding the g-spot.  The rest of the shaft is smooth, which makes it easy to thrust the vibrator in and out of the vagina during use.  The shaft curves in a bit from the base of the bottom round segment to where the battery chamber is located at the base of the vibrator.

The base of the vibrator is a darker pink, unlike the light pink of the shaft of the toy.  The base unscrews to reveal the battery chamber.  Turn the cap counterclockwise to remove and place two AA batteries inside of the chamber, positive side down.  Place the cap back on, turning it clockwise, and make sure that it is tightly screwed on.  If you fail to screw the cap on tightly and decide to submerge this vibrator in water, as it is waterproof, you may very well ruin the battery chamber and the toy entirely.

To operate the vibrator, simply press the button at the base of the cap that you removed to place the batteries in the toy.  Press it once to activate the softest setting, twice to activate the medium setting, and three times to activate the hardest setting.  Be warned that this vibrator is extremely noisy, even on the lowest setting possible.  If you live in a dorm or at home, make sure to use this alone when no one is around.  It can be heard outside of the bedroom, and in my case, down the hall leading to the living room.  The vibrations are distributed evenly throughout the toy while in use.  The vibrations in the head of the vibrator are no harder than the ones felt along the shaft.  The equal distribution leaves room for you to be completely satisfied instead of only just mostly satisfied.  If you decide to use lubricant with this toy, use only water based as silicone based will ruin the toy entirely.

Clean up is a breeze.  Simply wash the silky g with warm water and soap and place either back in the beautiful tin storage container that it came packaged in or in a bag amongst your other toys.  Some silicone toys react with other silicone toys and can cause the material to melt.  Store in a plastic bag before placing among other toys just to be safe.

All in all, I absolutely LOVE this vibrator.  It provides the hard vibrations that I desire to get myself on Cloud Nine and beyond.  If you’re looking for a high quality vibrator for a rather reasonable price, I highly suggest the Waterproof Silky G by Evolved.
